I was on San Juan island last summer and visited both the old American and English camps. We have some pretty well defined borders now but that wasn't always the case. On san Juan island, one such disagreement happened that led to two armed camps, one or Royal Marines and the other from the US Army, but luckily cooler heads prevailed.

SPC Kevin Ford Doesn't seem that long ago I Remember Hearing about Canadian Fishermen Kidnapping American Fisherman accusing them on Fishing in Canadian Water. Definitely was a Headache for Both Countries Coast Guard.
