I'm SO SICK of people trying to place blame on an object that would harm NO ONE if you placed it on a table, on fire, round in the chamber, pointed at someone's head. The weapon will NOT fire. ONLY way that changes is if some FOOL picks it up and squeezes the trigger. Why can't people accept that it's MAN that is the problem, not the weapon industry in this case? I get sick of some of the 2A folks who spread around inaccurate information that the Feds are taking away weapons, but this is equally as bad. So if my car gets wrecked by a Honda, I sue Honda? I'd love to see the FIRST time someone tries to sue Colt. It'll be the shortest case ever. Prove to the court that the AR15 was responsible for your loved ones death. Let me know how that works under cross.

You and me both Warren. The NYT needs to mind their own business. I wonder if the truth was known, how many employees who work for the NYT, carry.

MAJ Matthew Arnold
The gun control and gun confiscation advocates do not expect to win a court case. They plan to bury the company in litigation and force them to spend so much money that they cannot afford to make guns.

But the problem is, they have a LARGE lobby with considerable pull, so should someone even try that out, it's a wasted effort. I understand the importance of gun control, but the weapons that were used in almost every shooting was legally bought.

Cars cause more deaths per year than guns, but we don't blame the car, and we don't sue the car maker. This is purely a litigious tactic used to bully gun manufactures and bury them financially, made by those who aren't happy with the rules (2A), and will take their ball and go home if they can't play by their own rules.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no! People are responsible for their actions, not the people who build tools that people use to make their lives better, or to protect themselves.

Correct, SSG Gerhard S.. Like falling off a ladder? It's the climbers fault, not the ladder maker.

Why can't people realize it's the humans fault, not the guns. If we got ride of guns, they would use machetes or knives. It goes on and on. If one of those complainers kids got accidentally poisoned, it would be the parents fault, not the poison. This is all bullshit.

Staff, that can't be true. That would mean people would have to accept their actions have consequences, and you KNOW they won't do that. The ONLY way I could see this working, is if the defense could prove to any court that it was through the design, ease of use, ease of accessibility, and the fact it was sold to someone who shouldn't have one....but again, the weapons manufacturer doesn't sell directly to people. So who are you gonna sue?
