I think the South Korean president is too wimpy to bring back exercises again in the south. Kim Jong the uncola nut but not 7UP is a crafty fat boy. I knew I couldn't trust him. Time will tell but it's all trust but verify.

I don't think it's wimpy for South Korea to take the diplomatic path when an American president stomps in and makes promises without consultation. It's easy to make sterilized observations when one doesn't have a dog in the fight, but Korean bloodlines don't stop at the border.
Also, I do believe I called it months ago when I said Trump wouldn't be the one to fix this, nor any other American president.

Yes, but the whole point is to divide and conquer. I was reading in the Canadian paper that Japan is alarmed while South Korea maintains a conciliatory stance, it needs to amount to much more than family reunions of people who haven't seen each other since 1950. Hopefully cooler heads prevail on both sides of the DMZ.
