The Texas Veterans Land Board, George P. Bush - Chairman

For Texas....there is the Texas Land Board. They offer special rates for Mortgage loans and only 5% down on land purchases. The only thing bad about this is YOU CAN NOT REFINANCE your home...you can only use this to PURCHASE a home....the other thing about this is you have to pay 1 % origination fee that is NOT required for regular VA loans.
The rates for Disabled Vets are lower.....and disabled VETS DO NOT have to pay a VA funding fee.
