The problem is that *THE PEOPLE* voted to leave. So Labour politicians pushing for "no confidence" are going to have to shit or get off the pot. The populace these past few elections has been pretty 40/40 with 40% right wing, 40% left wing. So it stands to reason that a large percentage of left wingers voted to leave as well. The man in the street for the most part is of the idea "it was voted on rightly or wrongly and we have the result. Honour the result."
Labour is pushing the "consequences" path which, while true, doesn't negate the fact that the vote was to leave. The vote to leave was pretty close with 53% voting to leave and 47% voting to stay. But the referendum was not limited with the result coming only if a certain amount approved it. The rule was that even if it won by a single vote, the "win" would be given to the result. "Stayers" postulate that the man in the street was mislead of the consequences but a 50/50 split of financial folk and think-tanks are saying that the "doom and gloom" consequences of a "no deal" exit are not as bad as stayers are making out. These financial folk are both stayers and leavers.
The main killer for Johnson is the stupidity of the vote's timing. England went into the vote thinking that they were going to be alone. Scotland and Northern Ireland both were talking out of their ass about freedom like they do every election cycle. "But wait! This time it'll be different..." It wasn't. The man in the street told both puppets to shut their arses and Scotland and Northern Ireland voted firmly to remain within the United Kingdom. A further fucking came from the Irish themselves who made it known that they didn't want the Northern Irish back. Wales naturally does whatever London says, so the Welshman in the street voting "exit" wasn't a surprise.
What London should have done is wait until the freedom voting in Scotland and NI was over AND THEN sat NI, Scotland and Wales down and said "ok - this is what would happen if we leave and you stay." England didn't care because England thought it would be alone. With Scotland/NI voting to stay, there will now have to be a hard border with gates, guards and checkpoints. England's version of "building the wall!" NI and Scotland are naturally upset about it. "So did you vote to stay because the English voted to leave and you were being idiots or did you really want to stay?" The EU is naturally staying away and allowing the anarchy and chaos to take hold.

If Britain has no constitution, how can it rely on constitutional precedent?
