And here I thought UAE was only good for a Place to Drop Off Ships that we Confiscated Trying to Run our Searborne Barricades to Iraq or Get Drunk at the USO in the Basement of the Continental Hotel.

I'm all for any country trying to explore another space or another world - the United States does not have any lock on this. Also, they are smart enough to partner with the US to bring our experience to their program.

Actually I'm ok with this, Chip. Human diaspora into our solar system (and hopefully beyond) WILL require world-wide cooperation. Americans don't have any more right to it (though we may have more access, just because we have the money to burn) than anyone else on the planet. If UAE can contribute something that gets us there faster, safer, more efficiently...I'm all for it.
