Ridiculously amazing to see the brilliance and continuing advancement and progression of aircraft design! So honored to have worked on A-6 Bombers!!!

The German fighter in the picture sleek design was well ahead of its time; CPO Tim Dickey The Horten Ho 229 was was an improvement over the ME-163 Komet which was almost as dangerous to fly as it was to its targets. Like Wile E Coyote it frequently overshot the target.

Sorry Col, but the Horton Ho229 [AKA: Go229] powerplant was two Junkers Jumo B2 Turbojet engines, about 2,200 lbs thrust. The Komet was the Me163, Powerplant was Walther 109-509A Liquid fuel rocket engine [3,800 lbs thrust for about 7 min]
