This is a dual natured book, charming and humorous to read, yet doing a deep probing of the problem of force versus justice, or, as Arthur always puts it, might against right. The two different aspects of the book are so well done that it is fun to read Book I (about 25% of the whole book) aloud to children, yet the analysis of right , or justice, failing because it must be upheld by force, or might, is an interesting and perplexing philosophical problem.
I read it 50 or so years ago, and highly recommend it.
