Ahhh...the Outliers. I have an idea. Come legally or leave before the government actually enforces the law. Become a citizen. Become informed about issues. Then, vote.

That "Ten Year Separation" thing is a bunch of crap. There is nothing saying a couple has to split up of an illegal is deported. A couple can choose to stay together in the home country of the deported person.

LTC (Join to see) - I did not say the illegal resident spouse of a US citizen could stay. I said and meant, if a legal resident or US citizen spouse of an illegal resident could stay if they chose. Meaning, if illegal resident "A" is married to legal resident or US citizen "B" and "A" must leave the country for ten years, "B" has a choice. Legal Resident or citizen "B" may either stay in the US with minor children; or legal resident or US citizen "B" and minor children may accompany illegal resident "A" on the 10 year exodus from the US.

There are millions of Latino citizens in the US not registered to vote, and volunteers like Hernandez and Espeno know they’ll only reach a few of these people. But they’ll keep up their efforts, knowing that every person they get to show up at the polls, might represent a vote in their favor!
