I have been a member of Minnesota Won't Forget POW/MIA's since I was in high school. I got to know the family of the Bell "Huey"Helicopter Pilot whose name Cpt. Richard Schell I wore on my wrist band and I waited like they did for word from their son, brother, cousin that never came. Numerous reports placed him and others on railway platforms for their rides to North Korea, or Russia to work in Labor Camps after any useful information was extracted from them. Numerous sightings in the different interment camps were sent back and shared only to have the prisoner moved to another camp. What our country did or more importantly what they didn't do when they were asked to account for these missing in action soldiers is a shameful part of the Vietnam and Korean war history.

Capt Seid Waddell
SFC Jim Ruether, as I recall there was one or two prisoners from the Korean war released along with our prisoners from Viet Nam. One still had the spirit to say that he did not recommend the experience.
