TikTok argued against its U.S. ban in court today. Here's what happened

The first day of TikTok deliberations is over. It is an interesting legal question. On the one hand we want to protect ourselves from foreign disinformation, on the other this seems like a completely ... illogical ... way to do it. Foreign disinformation is flowing pretty freely on pretty much every social media platform I've been on and most of them have American ownership.

As far as the Chinese government collecting information on me? Well I guess now they have a bunch of pictures of my cats.
