I suppose there might be some "tactical" situation where someone might actually want the weight and awful balance of a short-barreled AK shotgun with a large magazine but the notion that it is the best semi-auto tactical shotgun strikes me as coming from a mall ninja fanboy.

Grouping it with the other five certainly makes it stand out because it is a totally different concept (and a concept whose legality will be tied up in court battles even after the "AR pistol brace" question is settled one way or the other).

Can't say I'd ever actually seen any of those semi auto shotguns although have owned and also used shotguns in over 40 years of Law Enforcement. Most the Law Enforcement time both civilian and Military we used the Remington 870 which was 12 gauge and did have a magazine they held five 12 gauge shotgun shells. We did have Mossberg 12 gauges shotguns also but I favored the Remington which was very easy to use.
