ok - got a lot to unpack with this. one year on a two year enlistment, deployments, and a whole lot of other questions. Basically they would be non deployable for 21 months, 9 months pregnancy, 12 months maternity leave. This is going to be harsh, but it's the truth, Uncle Sam, and taxpayers, are paying them to defend our country and interests, not light duty and leave for 21 months of an enlistment. This is yet another example of female privilege. No male would get 1 year of Paternity leave,

I think I would settle for 6 months Maternity and 6 months light-duty restrictions with a four day work week until the child is 1 year of age.
