First let me say I'm not a Trump fan and I believe his campaign manager and Trump handled this badly BUT I have to ask.
What would happen to a person that grabbed Obama or even HRC in a crowd?

Listening to Trump on Fox and Friends this morning pissed me off. First, he exaggerates what the reporter stated, saying she claimed she was knocked down (she said she was almost knocked down). He also avoided the fact that he and his campaign manager initially lied about how the event never happened in the first place. Finally, he attacks Megyn Kelly again for holding a debate on the subject with opinions from both sides including Shapiro himself who quit Breitbart because of their lack of support (but Trump still goes on to give all kinds of accolades to the lawyer defending his campaign manager's position). All they had to do is come out and say I'm sorry, I made a mistake not knowing who you were, and the issue would have moved on. I don't want a man who's instinct is to escalate a situation as my President.

I agree. Like I said at the start Im not a trump fan. I usually turn the channel when he opens his mouth. cant stand to hear him talk. As for what happened. I think a bunch of mistakes happened including his and his managers lies. But also, how was she able to get that close, Secret Service should have stopped her before she even touched him...UNLESS this happened before Secret Service was assigned

I too turn the channel. The Secret Service was assigned to him by that time but I believe the people within the building were cleared to be there and she hardly appeared to look like a threat. The Secret Service might also have recognized her as press and so no threat. Her actions were no different then all the people touching the President after a SOTU speech to shake his hand.

CMSgt Bill Ford Mine wasn't meant to be a get Trump question. I actually wondered how she got that close if he had secret service. Someone stated maybe the SS recognized her. Im not so sure that's valid... I'm guessing even if they recognize you...you aren't making it close enough to the president to touch him from behind.

PO2 Mark Saffell - The reason...the ONLY reason this is an issue is because of Trump. If a guy made something of this...he would be laughed at.
