Trump is no reason to give up on our country. We have had far worse people in our midst ( Nixon ). However, the discriminatory / hate motivated laws and behavior of a few states ( Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, North & South Carolina, Louisiana, Tennessee ) make these places inhospitable for any people typically discriminated against ( LGBT, women, or other minorities ) by armed, hate mongering, flag waving, religious terrorists - not great places to live. I thought we beat these terrorists back in the 1960s / 1970s - but they have taken on renewed vigor with the hate mongering of Trump/Breitbart rhetoric. Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

As many people here on RP have seen I have my views and stance, that doesn't change according to people I'm around I will still say how I feel and my opinion. I do still value the opinions of others. Choice and being able to have your own opinion is what makes the a great country. This has caused me to have to remove some friends from Facebook, with my feelings towards President Trump. I will state my opinion even if it is the unpopular one.

I'm not saying he is the absolute best we could have gotten, out of the choices; he was the best choice I think. This is where I loose LGBT friends!

I did vote for President Trump, I think it was the best choice for the country as a whole. The person he wanted to fill the seat in the Supreme Court, the support for military and veterans, and gun control issues. He may not have the best idea, but I think if Killary was in office we would completely loose them and she wanted to get rid of US gun manufacturers, that would snowball to irreparable damage to the country not just financially. This is to just name a few reasons why I voted the way I did.

President Trump had already asked said many times same sex marriage was settled. When you look back over the many years Killary only changed her stance later to fit the needs, Trump had said he didn't believe in it but not his choice. He has for many years left the LGBT community alone basically, he didn't care either way. President Trump also said there are bigger things to worry about with the shape our country was in; he was and is still more interested in all the other affairs of the country.

I may be a transgender person, and support all LGBT, but I also am for equal rights and protections. Transgender is not WHO I am, or what I do. LGBT issues is not the only thing in my life; it is only a small part. I want what is best for all. Everyone deserves to be happy, have their own opinions. The opinions should not be forced on anyone else along with their beliefs. I know not everyone will have the same beliefs and opinions as I do; it is when You want to force them on everyone else I have a problem with it. I do expect others to put their opinions, but should be willing to hear and respect the opinions of others.

SSG Jacey R. - I could not agree more!!! I may be a feminist at heart - but this is not who I am - nor am I so comfortable with those who define themselves by the causes they support. We are all people who must have broader public, professional, and personal lives and interests. President Trump is a mixed blessing for everyone - but he is most certainly among the most moderate in the running. Trump not Bannon! Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

1LT Sandy Annala - wow. You have utterly amazed me today. No matter what we feel or say, you are still a comrade in arms. And even though we may disagree I will always be there to protect your right to do so.

Agree,Trump is very unfairly being portrayed as the anti choice. The smear campaign by the press and TV outlets have now just proven to be hypocrits perpetrating as professional journalists...Dems are upset because a Non politician embarrassed and smeared egg on Hillary's face.. give Trump a chance, and I believe he will be one of the most aggressive Presidents to heal the economy, healthcare, and general infrastructure (roads, airports, National Parks)...
