Pettiness??? How about Obama breaking the tradition of speaking bad about a sitting president...especially his successor!!! No president including Clinton has done this. Reporters have tried for years to get past presidents to criticize sitting presidents and they have all avoided it because that is an unwritten rule and they have walked a mile in those shoes. Can Trump be the bigger man than Obama...he could but he isn't and it is his choice to hang or not hang a portrait. We need to get past this petty $&!+ and get tot he nations problems. I really don't care (in the immortal words of Ricky Bobby) if they hang a velvet portrait of a whale and a dolphin getting it on. Just take care of business.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Trump wasn't the first to blame predecessors...Party politics dictate that every sitting president since I can remember has blamed something in their admin on the previous president. That is nothing new. But leaving the office and slamming them, that is an Obamaism. They baited Bush trying to get him to talk about Clinton...he adamantly said that he had walked a mile in his shoes and didn't know everything the sitting president knew and therefore would not talk bad about him. Clinton did the same for Bush one. Obama missed that memo!
Obama was a coordinator in chief...he was no where near a leader. The economy tanked, race relations went into the toilet, and unemployment was high...I guess if you think that is leadership well then ok.

Your hatred for Trump is blinding you to facts. Under Trump Unemployment was at an all time low, business were coming back to the US, the military is getting funded, and the illegal immigration laws that have been on the books for years are finally getting enforced. Not to mention people are getting the health care they need that they lost under Obama. People don't like him because he is doing everything he has said he would do on the campaign trail and folks aren't used to that so they look for chinks in the armor and bring up stuff like this thread about a portrait...if that is all they have then we are doing just fine. Our current dems hate Trump so much that they would rather see this nation fall to the floor than to do anything Trump is attempting to do to fix this nation. Trump is like the doctor that tells you that you are fat, lazy, and out of shape an you had better start eating right and exercising and quitting bad habits before you die. You leave the doctors office cussing him all the way home till you realize he is the only one telling you the truth. Delivery is rough but the message is right on target.

MSgt Steve Sweeney I believe Trump. When there were cop shhotings that were validated clean shoots, Obama encouraged people to riot...he sent his AG to meet with the victims and never the police...he assumed the police were right and caused the riots...that is what I am referring to and I just because I back Trump doesn't make me a racist no more than a cat having kittens in the oven makes them biscuits.
