MSgt Steve Sweeney - Syria has been affiliated with Russia all along and has been the only mid eastern country to do so. Syria has already regained about 30% of the Kurdish territory without firing a shot.

What is hurting America's standing in the world is the non stop political infighting here and the democrats in congress that want to attempt to remove a duly elected president. Our friends are not sure what to expect our enemies are excited at the prospect of complete distraction and inattention to real issues at home and abroad.
It used to be that when a party lost a national election they would rethink their platform, their candidates, their messaging etc. They would look internally at themselves for better ideas. Now, it is an all out attack on the opposition candidate that won. Destroying your opposition, who happens to be a sitting US president, appears to be the new strategy. It is not good for America at home or abroad.
There is nothing wrong with pushing back on specific policy decisions and the like. The damage to the US is not being done by removing 50-100 special forces operators from Syria. Anyone with a thinking cap knows this.

SFC Thomas Foreman - Steve comes up short at everything he does in life it seems especially anything requiring wit, intelligence and tenacity.
Technically I was promoted 3 times in 4 years, he was promoted 7 times in 20+ years. So he was promoted once every 34+ months. I was promoted every 16 months so even in my limited stay in the Marines I was more promotable than he was. Steve must have given up or didn't realize there was an E9 out there for the taking. That is what happens to the unmotivated in life, they just come up short.
He turns his failures into anger at others who he knows have outperformed him in so many ways. That is what those that come up short do. He makes up stories about fake careers and tries to be clever but he is really just a dullard with little hope. The self esteem issues he suggest of others are only a projection of his.

Trump should not be impervious for his acerbic nature, reckless decisions, a constant barrage of lies, and unethical behaviors. He has so corrupted the Federal Government that they will lie on behalf of him.
