Trump officials reverse pause on immigration raids targeting farms and hotels

I grew up primarily in the southeast. We didn't have migrant labor doing the farming. That was the pervue of the High school aged kids. We used that money to buy cars and motorcycles and other things. If you were lucky enough to work for a tobacco farmer you had it made. It was hard work, but the pay was great for a kid living at home with no bills. At 16 I was driving a 15(?) speed big flatbed truck from the fields to the barns, as well as being part of the harvester crew. I still live in the southeast and High school aged kids still do the bulk of the labor in the fields during the summer. Next fall when school starts back, they'll be driving nice cars and pickups. Harvesting produce is not "rocket science", it doesn't require a lot of experience. Corporate farms are using the illegals to get around paying taxes, and offering health insurance. I say take that cheap labor away from them.
