Trump says he'll act to ban TikTok in US as soon as Saturday

It's an app made in an adversarial country with ties to the chinese communist party. They've been stealing our tech for decades, what makes anyone believe they couldn't have ulterior motives when the app could be used as a propaganda mill to sway an election in the USA or be a trojan horse when used within a government facility.

You do know why criminals use burner phones right? You should also know that all modern apps use geolocation to identify demographics and a lot of other data about it's users? If the app is a trojan horse or can be repurposed as a trojan horse, then it's a national security threat.

I see extrapolation in your argument. You are saying because one app written in china could be banned, all apps are suspect. Trump didn't say internet, he said tiktok. YOU made the loaded question argument. The left also complained about the loss of the internet over the net neutrality regulation being scrapped, yet it didn't happen.

Why do you go to the negative before considering the positive? Is globalism more important to you than national sovereignty/security or do you hate Trump so much that your posts, such as this one, are only a means to persuade people to your opinion?

Trump just attacked the wealth disparity, also. Are you going to start hating the wealth gap, now? And before you say I should be ok with the wealth gap, because capitalism, I don't have an issue with the wealth of those that try, I'm opposed to monopolies, of which, there are laws on the books that are not being used by the career criminals in government to end monopolies.

If Trump attacks the monopolies, like Reagan did, he will go down as one of the best Presidents to have lead our country. If you don't like that some of us actually respect, not worship, Trump, the problem is you, not us. I, personally, don't agree with him one hundred percent, but he's a hell of a lot better than hillary would have been and a hell of a lot better than the left give him credit. Four more years after November and the next President will be elected.
