Former President Trump filed a lawsuit against Michael Cohen, but inadvertently put himself in a lose/lose situation. He does not want to release evidence in civil case that is potentially incriminating in ongoing hush money criminal case. If he releases financial documents, they can be used as state's evidence by New York DA Bragg. If he does not release financial documents, he will lose the lawsuit by default (due to refusal to comply with normal discovery process).

More TDS from the liberal left. This so called article traces to Salon.com. Which is left biased based on story selection that strongly favors the left and endorsements of political positions affiliated with the Democratic Party. They are also rate mixed for factual reporting due to occasionally utilizing sources POOR SOURCE and FAILED FACT CHECKS. But the liberals don't care about facts anyway.

This is for Chip - he's on his "let me dispute anything said by posting a left-leaning fact check of the source". Even using the left-leaning Media Bias Fact Check doesn't bode well for Salon.
