Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said Monday he did not think Ukraine could win the war against Russia and compared Ukraine’s efforts to a junior high team trying to defeat a college team in a hypothetical sports match.
In an interview with Fox News’s Laura Ingraham on Monday night, Tuberville touted his record voting against funding for Ukraine and said that, while he supported the country’s efforts over Russia, he thought Ukraine was outmatched and that no amount of funding would change that.

Given Russia’s disastrous performance so far, it looks to me that the Ruskies are playing with their “B” team for some unknown reason, unless they are actually so militarily and leadership/command degraded that this is all they have short of nukes. Ukraine, with significant help from the west, seems to be playing Putin to a draw.

PO1 John F. Johnson - John, I've wondered the same thing. If----and it's a BIG if----Putin is functioning with a rational mind, I think he'd not use nukes. But people are saying that he's unbalanced, so I just hope Russia has a way to keep him from using nukes, much like what happened in the U.S. when Trump seemed unstable and could have set off nukes. . . .

Tuberville is an idiot, but he is right that Ukraine is totally overmatched by Russia.
Ukraine is almost as badly overmatched by Russia as the US was overmatched by Britain in 1776 and again in 1812.
