Turkey will be doing housecleaning for a while. Erdogan just needed an excuse, as he has been replacing long-time military officers with his loyalists for some time. Now he can do it in one fell swoop.

1SG (Join to see) - I did not know that. They do have a lot of experience and if they speak English, some could be granted asylum in other countries. I am sure some can become commercial pilots too.

Azerbaijan speaks a nearly identical language, and Syria... well plenty of work to be had there.
I wonder if any will wind up in Cyprus.
