Turkish jets bomb US-backed forces in Iraq, Syria, US officials say

I have a feeling that, if World War III were to actually break out, Syria's going to be its version of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Who cares what Little Fat Man is spouting in his little sandbox... China's just as likely to get sick of it and slap him down as we are. Syria, though... that's a powder keg with some major players getting into world-order magnitude pissing contests.
