LOL, OK , understand, personally, I rather compare this site to LinkedIn , though my wife prefers Facebook, more to do family friend and church stuff. Over strenuous mental resistance on my part to it for sevl reasons as to why I prefer the other, I "occasionally" look at a few "semi"-useful and or interesting sites mainly for certain vet type groups, for the most part. I just find LinkedIn to be run on a far higher level to my taste, just the way I'm wired, I guess, LOL. Twitter I never even bother with, though I've found http://www.researchgate.net quite useful comparable to LinkedIn, and highly worthwhile.

That is quite a list sir. now we have the brew ha ha of the next one being named after a former Michigan lawmaker that is deceased. No wonder the SECNAV has more gray hair then the prez.

I understand hope of course you found it worthwhile, obviously, if only as I said as historical perspective, of course, though I by all means entirely agree, as I'd said.

Always heated debate and they are always changing the conventional wisdom and systems. It used to be Battleships were Named for States, Then the Nuclear Cruisers after the first experimental single run versions, Now it is the big Boomer Subs.

Still Proud to call myself a Golden Grizzly and a Razorback. I served on USS California CGN-36 (A Past President's Flagship when I served on it) and USS Arkansas CGN-41 (A Serving President's Flagship when I served on it).

I follow, I entirely understand, its just that getting some factual perspective merely occurred to me, hope you found it worthwhile, of course, though I of course basically agree with the prevailing view, as I'd said, certainly.
