I reenlisted in the AR when I was accepted to WOBC. Best move I ever made in both the duty and command.

LTC (Join to see) - I will always be Grateful for the "2nd String" called up to Bat more Often than Not. You have been closer to Ground Zero than I ever was and I am a El Dorado Canyon, Desert Storm, Desert Strike Veteran. "In the Box" Upper Persian Gulf was Close Enough For Me!

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Chip, you were in the Cold War/Blinds Man's bluff era that actually never went away. Your experience now that Ras-Putin is back trying to bring back the USSR with stealing Crimea and being bed buddies with Nuke-Happy Iran makes it feel like 1980 all over again. I thought the wall came down in 1989 and the Warsaw pact fell apart and half joined NATO but now Russia wants the Baltic States and Poland back and we have some small EU task force to try to stop them? Your insight on the intel side has been excellent. I use you as a reference since the game is the same now the equipment is smaller and digital with more encryption but your experience could bring you to active duty as a retiree. You never know! Thanks for your service!

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Same here! You know about Canadian Auroras or most anything I throw your way. I have a 74 year old COL friend who I talk to daily about stuff even though he retired in 1996, he was in Afghanistan in 2008-2013 as a contractor and he did have to deal with a near miss of a 127mm rocket that gave him flashbacks of Vietnam in 2009 so we still share stories even though he was in Vietnam in 68-69. The common denominators never change.
