The last time I shaved off my mustache was in 1985 after the birth of my second son. When we got back in from being underway my first son screamed in terror and would not let me pick him up. It's stayed on ever since, it's just grey now.

PO1 John Johnson I Understand OS1. I Shave it off Once in a Great While and the Appearance is Frightening. I Have to Have it. Not Quite the "Porn Star Stache" it Once Was but Now the Proper Grandfatherly Stache that My Grandfather Everett Had.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - Here's pic of my son (OR ANG, currently deployed with the US Army; can't tell you where or he would kill me) with his chrome dome and '70's Porn "Stache. He's 35 and the ;stache makes him look like he's a 25 year old trying to look older. I look nothing like him; he got all that from his mother!

I shaved mine off about 15 yrs ago for a "change of pace". My family was unanimous in their opinion that I grow it back asap.
