I have no idea if it was or not, but it wouldn't be the first time someone claimed responsibility for something they had nothing to do with. If I wanted to cause problems and was capable of doing it (I am not) ascribing the act to a sworn enemy is a good way to do so

SP5 Dennis Loberger Pretty Tame is what I was thinking. I wouldn't be surprised if it was done by some of Our Own Folks as Further Ammo against Iran.
