No, we can't. I believe that our POTUS is all about restoring our military strength and superiority. I simply think that Congress has too many people in it that do not agree.

We certainly have too many who are too focused on their own pockets as some senior officers appear to be in the F35/A10 flyoff

Comparing our DoD to whatever they have, or our government to theirs, or our leadership to theirs is watermelons and rutabagas. Russia would go bankrupt today trying to buy a boatload of John Deere lawn tractors.

In this day and age we have to maximize a collection of allies. Let's face it - China could spend us under the table if they desired. And they are concentrating more and more assets in that area. And regionally, Russia is obviously king of their domain. I fear we are severely weakening our bonds with our traditional allies. Bonds that have served us very well over the past 60+ years. It is about much more than just throwing money at defense systems.

Walter Mitty former president Obama and many people believe that climate change is the biggest threat the United States. Climate change formerly called global warming is it worldwide scam as part of the Kyoto Accords to raise your gasoline, natural gas and fossil fuel prices so you can save the world a couple thousand dollars at a time at your expense. This is the carbon tax schedule from my province of Alberta. California has something similar. If you elect a Democrat or a socialist who believes in climate change, look forward to this kind of schedule where the expenditures increase year by year. Yet, ho-hum Democrats complained that President Trump's economic improvements are not good enough for the average worker. The average worker we actually be paying more if the California model is used Nationwide.
