A successful meeting would be "signing an agreement"? How delusional is that? What? We want President Trump to return waving a document and singing "Peace for our time!"? Not me. A successful meeting in my estimation would entail just one thing: President Trump delivering a firm warning first hand...

Have to agree with you, Captain Jack. An agreement with North Korea isn't worth the paper it's written on. We've seen this act before.

If an official agreement comes out of the meeting then it's a win. Until a meeting actually happens, this is all wishful speculation. We've already seen Trump meet with other leaders then at the press conference start to say things that was never agreed upon in the meeting. Lets hope they televise the meeting; they both enjoy being on TV. The latest report says the meeting won't be scheduled till May. Shouldn't there be a sense of urgency? Anything can happen in two months.

Sgt Wayne Wood - You're speculating. Kim has a nuke. He has a missile. They cracked the initial code to keep moving forward successfully. Kim: "What are you going to give me to make me stop?" The negotiations are just beginning.

25 million starving people ain’t speculation. As you say, the negotiations are only beginning. But WE have the strength position and i don’t think we’ll piss it away the way Madelline Half-bright & various others have.

Sgt Wayne Wood - N. Korea has China, that's their strength. There's a reason why we have never put an end to all this for the last 60 plus years. It's not due to our lack of military strength. Wake me up when China, both Koreas, and US finally sit down and sign a peace treaty that replaces the armistice. Then we can talk about actually achieving something. I welcome that president.
