US Senator celebrates Army birthday with photo of Marines raising the flag at Iwo Jima

Mistakes happen. It just goes to show a junior staffer can really make a mistake and ruin your narrative. It happens with both parties. The kente cloth was used by the slave trader people of Africa who traded slaves with the Portuguese and others but yet Nancy Pelosi was trying to Virtue signal after George Floyd was murdered. Africans were pissed off! I won't show you the video but I'm sure you've seen it .

In this case, I don't fault Nancy Pelosi put a junior staffer who should have checked it out to make sure there were no issues with the kente cloth. The same thing probably applies with the Republican senator. The Republican senator probably has no behind left but there's no catastrophic damage compared to what happens to Democrats with the kente cloth.

Oh well! Who isn't Army Proud about that!! The Marines did a damned fine job!
