Hmmm...no bueno. Turkey has taken a very hard turn since Erdogan took power. They are sliding towards the National Socialist view they had in WWI & WWII. I believe they've even started using a version of a swastika design. This is bad news for the Kurds. Also, I "like" how Iran is skipping over the border of Iraq, which actually is a neighbor with Syria. Shades of future actions?

Iran is probably feeling the area out seeing how much of Iraq they might be able to get away with annexing and also trying to gauge our response as well.

PFC (Join to see) - I can see them annexing the northern portion in order to connect directly w/ Syria. My wonder, then, turns to Turkey & Iran fighting together to oust Assad? Could we be seeing the beginning of the reemergence of an Ottoman Empire-like region?
