"It would be refreshing to learn exactly what the plan is for the future of ARSOF history. Will there be a physical museum or is it destined to be a website? Will the artifacts be handed over to the downtown Fayetteville museum? Perhaps the USASOC History Office could provide a little bit more information. Thus far, the office has been less than forthcoming. The Special Warfare community deserves better."

Here's my photo of the Green Beret, taken in AUG70. It had been in place for less than a year. At the time, the JFK Special Warfare Museum was located nearby and you can see it behind and slightly to the left of the statue. I think it has since been relocated.

Yes that was it. It moves a few years ago as they’re building new buildings in the area. The best thing about the museum was all the SF stuff they sell. I know my parents love to stop by every time they visit.

I definitely enjoyed the museum over the years, but I think my last visit was in about 2006.
