SSgt Donald Libby thank you for the update. In the meantime, more of us die every day from the effects of Agent Orange.

Same old, same old. I understand empirically the issues VA faces - many of the infirmities and other diseases are increasingly present as we age. It's part of nature. But there is no predictability that any particular individual will end up with any particular infirmity. Diabetes is age related in the general population and the occurrences increase with age. I was pre-Type 2 diabetic in my late 30's and got over the "pre-" stage a number of years later. Nobody in my direct family line that I know of (I do genealogy and can go pretty far back) had ever been diagnosed with diabetes. In fact, I only know of one cousin, who is also a "Nam vet, with the diagnosis. Is that age or exposure? Somebody needs to make a decision. Half the people affected are going to be disappointed either way, but make a decision.
