Tester had zero proof that ADM Jackson did anything wrong. The Secret Service said that the allegations were untrue. So, yeah, using the smear from Tester against him in an election is fair game. Actions have consequences...

GOP members on that committee had the same concerns......any consequences for them? How about consequences for a POTUS that nominates someone who is greatly under qualified for a department of the size and complicated nature as the VA? Any consequences for him? Is that how he looks out for the veterans?

SSgt Gary Andrews - ADM Jackson had been a GREAT Doctor when he he approved President Obama's health but was suddently bad when he approved President Trump's.
And the two supposed drunken incidents occured during the Obama presidentcy and never came to light? If they did happen why was President Obama proptecting him?
And how do you claim that a General officer has no management skills?
As for the GOP members that had concerns that agreed to the investigation, they did not take unproven anonymous accusations based on conversations (not sworn depositions) to CNN.

Col Oseles......are you saying that an officer who rose through the ranks as a medical professional has the same level of management training and experience as one who rises through the ranks in a more traditional manner? Was the good doctor ever in charge of a division? A battalion? A regiment? A fleet? Not the same thing. And I never said he wasn't a good doctor, I said he was under qualified for the position he was nominated for. I'll stand by that remark.

No one single human is fully qualified and able to manage the VA in it's current configuration. It needs to be reorganized and restructured following modern management practices. ADM Jackson deserved a fair and balanced consideration. Because of anonymous accusations he did not receive those proper considerations. He was ambushed by political opponents.

When Tester went to CNN with accusations based on anonymous conversations in the name of "Transparency" and then clammed up when his central claims of drunken episodes were disproven until he could review White House and Secret Service Records for dates he showed he was not a believer of Transparency.
What a hypocrite.

I am sorry, I lose more respect for both parties when someone crosses over, and then is belittled. Ronnie Jackson is wholly unqualified to run the largest healthcare system in the country. He deserved what he got.

Kevin, would you like to be accused based on anonymous conversations and deserve to have those accusations taken to the media to smear you? All in the sake of Transparency to give the press a bunch of accusations not backed up by sworn depositions?
