Oh - yes they do go somewhere! Into our driveway, break into pieces, rub themselves up and down both sides of the Suburban leaving nice neat shiny, swirly scratches all over! We had ~60MPH winds, took down the fence 2 houses away, played all Dorothy in a whirlwind on the trampoline and spread the pieces across a couple of blocks.

Driving down a country road a couple years ago, I just about collided with a trampoline as it got caught by a gust of air and came real close to hitting my truck. Pretty freaky!!!
