For Me everyone is ok until they prove otherwise although some people prove that themselves very quickly ! I neither expect or want everybody to be just like Me and what makes us individuals is what makes us interesting as people and friends. I'll admit though the majority of My friends tend to have Military or Police backgrounds and for the most part conservative but some that aren't We still don't attack each other. I still want people that at least can be individuals and think for themselves without finding a need to attack others that may not always agree with them. Thief's and liars though are NEVER acceptable to Me no matter what their political views may be.

I Do It Somewhat Differently, I Don't Expect Anything From Others,
So I'm Not Disappointed When Nothing Happens; But If Something Good
Becomes Of It, I Have Reason To Be Glad It Did. ~ It May Sound Simplistic,
But It Serves Rather Well. ~~ And People Either Like Or Dislike Me, For The Exact Same Reasons; For Whom I Am, Not For Whom I Want Them To Think I Am.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - It appears We pretty much have the same viewpoint but expressed it in a different way. I'm not expecting anything from anyone either but again if the prove themselves then that's good. In the long run it's still up to the other guy to prove Himself. Once I figure out where they stand I'm sure they know what I think of them. I'm flexible but it has it's limits and have no problem calling an Alpha Hotel an AH ! (being polite here)

Very Well Stated & True As Well.
I Tend To Trust Others Until They Prove Themselves Untrustworthy,
Just As You Also Stated. ~ But It's Often At My Own Perl..Sometimes
I Feel As Though I'm Paying For Their Errors, Then Become Angry At Myself For Allowing It To Happen. .... aka "Stupid" ~~ But I Do It SO Well. (;-)

I don't care how nice, sweet, or uplifting someone says we should be, there are times I do not want a DEI Hire interacting with me. As a Doctor is a big one. Medically it just makes common sense that everyone wants the best possible person treating them, and if someone isn't properly prepared or educated that's a Red Flag Issue.

She isn't for DEI; she is anti-DEI. And I agree with you. People should not be picked based on their race, creed or color.

Well stated.. But when it comes to race, politics and religion people get all worked-up and want to force there ways on one another...Don't think that will every change....Sad but true:((
