I liked the comment the Trump camp claimed was made by USMC Gen. Mattis during his interview for the SecDef slot. He allegedly told POTUS-elect Trump he was not for waterboarding. Trump said Mattis told him, 'I've always found, give me a pack of cigarettes and a couple of beers and I do better with that than I do with torture.' Interesting concept but I defer to experts on the matter. I'd imagine that everyone has a breaking point but the most ardent captives might tell you anything to make the torture stop. The time it takes to verify their intel buys them a reprieve and they can then repeat the process. I've read that chemicals can work well and not just the traditional sodium pentothal, but scopolamine. As recent as 2009 it has been discovered to have been used by Czech operatives. It's mostly used for motion sickness. I didn't watch all of the video so if this was noted than please excuse my oversight. Thanks for sharing.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I just finished with the video. Interesting test that they did. I have always wondered what fallout would come from resistance to the stress positions. Without resorting to physical violence, it would difficult to enforce it. The white noise to me was the worst thing they did to these people. I always joke about not being in the screaming baby section, but it really isn't a joke. I hate the sound. It is one of those sounds that just makes me want to shake the parent until they tend to the baby's needs. I thought it was also interesting that number 18 technically won the game. He resisted to a point that the Medical oversight had to step in before he could go back to being interrogated. I do fully agree with the sentiment that nobody can hold out forever. It is a matter of how fast can you break the person down. I also wonder how the interrogators would have reacted had someone resisted during the snatch and grab phase of the interrogation. I appreciate you sharing this. Food for thought.
