Sad story. I feel sorry for Mai Luu, who survived ten years in a Communist reeducation camp, to face eviction.

It is sad to hear that some of the most vulnerable are still losing the places where they are able to live in California. This is not only happening to veterans and refugees, it is happening to others that have been living there for decades.
It is sad to see the money grubbers still trying to squeeze as much out of California as they can. What is even more sad, a significant amount of the money grubbers are foreign owned REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust). And we (the American people) complain about the money President Trump made in the real estate industry.
