Basely the communists were killing in the name of equality.

I have a problem with the authors seeming to cut muslims out of the equation. He lumps Christians and Jews under one god and excludes Islam. All 3 sects have the same god figure. Islam split away after The Abraham had a bastard child incident. All of the killing was in the name of a higher purpose. I see it as, the most killing has been done by leaders that think they're doing it for "Your own Good"
