West Virginia mail carrier guilty of election fraud after altering ballot requests to Republican

Capt Gregory Prickett - I don't know, nor do I care. Fraud is fraud.

Fraud can happen by in person, mail in or absentee ballots and has from time to time in all those forms. Precautions to insure that doesn't happen in all case should of course first involve making sure only current Registered voters are issued ballots either in person by check in at the actual polls or My mail after written application in order to be sent a ballot. Any fraud form any method of voting does need to be prosecuted and have severe penalties . Once a ballot is received the vote ahs been cast and certainly any others from the same party is fraud along with any that didn't mention one of the aforementioned methods of voting by ONLY by current registered voters.

A1C Doug Towsley - In Massachusetts also there are a lot of safeguards in the election process to insure only registered voters participate. Public records of all birth and deaths are tracked and available. Picking up the ballots for mailing or in person is tracked as are the votes cast by issued ballots. There hasn't to My knowledge ever been an issue of voter fraud in the state. I can't speak for other states that don't have the same safeguards however and have had questionable practices.
