LTC Eugene Chu Navy Submarine Cooks are Pretty Impressive. SUBBASE Pearl was always a good place to eat.

Geez! Based on the pictures alone, we already know the answer. Except for the tan-beret and high-speed badges on his chest, that pretty much sums up the cooks I have worked with... they will cut you. Do not mess with their time off.

a lot depends on the cook, some places were good some not so good. Our mess hall on Kadena was just across the st. and fed our sq and a sp sd. There was not many living in that area, poss. under 1000. food was very good, on special holidays it was like being at grandmas house
