I do not understand the public's fascination with Twitter. It is just another Web site.

For supporters of a political party that hates foreigners...and social media...and renewable energy, they sure do seem to love it when someone who meets all of those criteria uses their wealth to try to help the GOP win elections. Money and power.

LTC David Brown - Twitter is a private entity. The first amendment doesn't apply. Plus, Democrats didn't control the WH. Why the complaints? Conservatives have their outlets that help shape their preferred narrative. That's not unique to the left.

LTC Kevin B. - well can the government try to suppress your free speech on a private platform ? Especially when the government knew what they were suppressing was true? The platform owners weren’t cognizant of the truth of your post, unlike the government.

LTC David Brown - They can try, but ultimately it's up to the private entity to allow it to happen. And, when this story initially surfaced, the government wasn't ran by Democrats; it was ran by Republicans. Unless of course, some may want to use the "deep state" conspiracy theory as an excuse. If that were somehow true, that implies Republicans were unable to actually control the people that worked for them, which shows completely ineffective leadership. Either way, this is just sour grapes.

LTC Kevin B. All I will say is that people perjured themselves at the FBI to get Trump. If you think the CO of an army base knows every thing being done by his subordinates on an army base you are mistaken, same with the President. When the FBI told Twitter executives it was Russian disinformation they were pushing a lie, I guess that’ll s fine with you!
