PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - I watched them tow the Mighty Mo across Waikiki as they put her in Pearl Harbor. The entire way from Diamond head past Ala Moana, to Pearl, the shoreline was lined with folks paying their respects. Luckily, I knew a few people, and when she docked I got a tour before they fixed her all back up to Museum status. It gave me chicken skin to stand on that deck.

SGT Kevin Hughes - I just Loved the Pictures My Son sent of the Mighty Mo when He was in Hawaii seeing Her restored to Majesty. Same goes for Battleship New Jersey Videos on You Tube. Hard to believe from what I Remember of both of them in Mothballs in Bremerton, They Looked Pretty Rough!
