Either one can outclass our wannabee alpha POTUS. If not for his money he'd be last one picked for playground sports.

What I was the kid in elementary, Jr High and part of High School, I was one of those picked last or too small or to slow to play defensive end in football so I was a benchwarmer in 10th Grade Sophmore Football. A year later in 11th grade cross-country, I was most improved and I received my Varsity letter. Funny you mention President Trump in the being picked last for sports analogy. I almost forgot my past LOL.

John, the fact that he has amassed a fortune and runs a global real estate and entertainment business is the reason he is an actual alpha. Trudeau and Macron are creatures of the political class that have learned to use the right fork at the right time and have all of the intricacies of proper protocol down to a science.
I would dispute that either one of them are even alpha's. I don't think either one have demonstrated great skill at anything except getting elected. Trudeau is living off of Daddy's name, a little nationalistic nepotism up north it appears. He is a lightweight.
Macron married his school teacher, 25 years his senior (he was 15 when they met), in a move that came right from the tabloid headline. Macron's parents removed him from the school but it appears the "romance" (we call it child rape here) went on. There is something amiss with him and her. Macron is now step father to her three children, one of those children is two years older than Macron...Yeah, that's right.

And Trump is living off the fortune his daddy amassed, he's just been fortunate enough not to blow it away.

I don't get the whole alpha thing. Not specifically with regard to this post, but as a supposed type of person. I know people who certainly believe themselves to be an "alpha" but I'm just not seeing it, and that's not say that the people I'm thinking of aren't achieving some sort of alpha status or lack some sort qualities that would make them alphas. Rather, I'm saying that I don't recognize alpha as a type of personality or person. So there is no "alpha" type to become or to be. It ain't a thing (to me, at least). I had leaders in the Army who displayed good character and were genuine subject matter experts - but I file that under professional competence and personal character. I had confidence in them because of that competence and good character, but not because of some "alpha" status.
In the lead up to the last presidential election, it seems that a lot of this alpha business cranked up quite a bit and it seems to refer to something like Alec Baldwin's character at the start of Glengarry Glen Ross. Being loudly opinionated and theatrically assertive comes across as something other than what I think a self-described "alpha" sees themselves as.
Anyway, I think presidents and heads of state should act like dignified professionals, but that's me.
