Could or, should have or would have doesn't change the fact that it was ignored and the rest of the world saw it as disrespect. President Obama has some of the worst advisors in a very long time, just my opinion okay so don't get your drawers in a twist. President Obama relies on solid advice from his team and they continually fail him on a regular basis. While I do not much care for the politics of President Obama, he is our Commander in Chief and deserves to have a team of advisors that give him better advice so as not to make our nation look weak or foolish.

PO1 Glenn Boucher makes a very good point that those of us who criticize this President sometimes fail to acknowledge is that his Administration is full of people we should be criticizing. Of course, I'm not guilty. I've been criticizing them all. Now we learn that Hillary Clinton's campaign committee, the same people who will be tapped if she ascends to the Presidency, are coming from Obama's team. Delightful, if elected, we can look forward to more of the same.

Obviously, President Obama couldn't be there nor could he send a senior official to represent him. It would be inconsistent with his attitude of appeasement towards Muslims, and the President is, if nothing else, consistent in this regard.

Most probably will take this statement as criticism and leap to either defend him or agree with the criticism, however, that is not the meaning you should infer. It is simply a statement of fact, indisputable fact. Need I cite the countless statements by President Obama and others in his Administration wherein they affirm their intention to "stand with Islam"? Need I cite the countless appointments of members of Islamic associations including CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood to important posts and committees serving his Administration? Need I cite the continuing litany of complaints directed by President Obama and senior officials in his Administration against the enemies of Muslims? And, lest we forget, need I cite the official stance of his Administration that it will not profile Muslim Extremists or even utter that combination of words?

How then could anyone expect him or anyone representing his Administration to lock arms with these world leaders and use their physical presence t express their displeasure with these heinous acts of terrorism?

Let's not be silly...
