LTC Eric Udouj It seems that they are all on-board with re-writing history. They thrive off the uneducated by telling them their history and shunning the history of the world - or that particular region. The destruction of artifacts & ruins only emphasizes this - if they aren't there to be found by the masses, then did they ever really exist?
The nihilism falls into their own prophecy that the 12th Imam will appear when they are defeated, thus leading to the end of the world.
