I found this article interesting because he discusses the brain science behind police shootings (well, any violence), and doesn't belabor the race issue.

A great article. Race is just one factor among many, however when an officer is scared and trying to decide if they should use deadly force... it can be the factor that gets someone killed. The straw that breaks the proverbial camels back.
