I had a Kimber Carry II. Absolutely loved it. Never had a problem, ran every round of ammo through it like a champ. Ended up selling it to the security guard that protected my Mom's shop. He was still toting a gigantic .357 revolver.... Mine was like this except in stainless finish:

Sorry, I prefer a wheel gun, SW snub nose 38+P. One shot one kill. I don’t subscribe to shooting Hollywood style. I’m not saying that you do, it is my mind frame that I am alluding to.

I don't buy art is the main reason I don't have a 1911. My EDC is a Ruger P-90 .45APC. My wife carries a Ruger SP-101

I love the revolvers too, maybe because I carried one for years in the police department. And now, I do carry a wheel gun, a S&W 625 in 45ACP, what a combo, great shooter. I carry it in a fanny pack, and when not carrying my revolver, I have my 1911 in 45ACP in it.
If I do carry with IWB, it's my Colt Combat Commander 45ACP, that I bought in the late 70s, when I first became a COP, that 1911 then cost me less than $300, try to get one now. Lol

How do like you 625, never heard of it, but then I liked Ruger first (Blackhawk.357 mag), when I had dreams of getting a cattle ranch.
I love the SP-101. Preferred the black instead of stainless so I went with the S&W bodyguard.38+P

My dad had a Korean War vintage 1911. My sister claimed it, Mom seconded it, I was out of luck.
