Not a good idea. While two background checks are made, crap slips through the cracks..further more housing was a benefit for service not to be shared with the general public. Ultimately it comes to profit margin versus security. Damn shame..

I agree. As the mom of an Army captain I don't like this at all!! What we need is to the our military back up to proper fighting status. They have shrunk our military so much it puts the USA in danger. Refill these homes with soldiers that have a right to be there!!

I read somewhere or heard on TV it's due to budget cuts and downsizing the military overall. Wouldn't swear to it tho.
