World War II in the Middle East

Most history books tell of the fight in North Africa.. and leave out the whole campaign in the Middle East itself that had to occur against Vichy French and pro-Nazi iraqi forces... There are reasons to leave that campaign out.. it was war against forces that were French... and a key Allie after the war... But slowly it is being added back into the overall history of the war.
